A rabbi, a priest and an imam are sharing a new blog to offer their respective faith’s perspective on current issues and common human problems.

They hope to provide a model for getting along in a pluralistic society, as well as dispel misconceptions about their religions and show that religious reflection has a place in society today.

Pakistani Muslim nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize

Known for establishing the world’s largest ambulance service, a Karachi man is now in line to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Abdul Sattar Edhi’s is one of the most famous men in Pakistan. 60 years ago, he opened a medical clinic which eventually spawned the world’s largest ambulance service and an international charity.

Edhi’s charitable foundation operates approximately 2,000 ambulances in Pakistan, helping anyone in need, regardless of religion, ethnicity or social class. His non-profit foundation has centers in 37 countries.

Triad Interfaith Mission To Israel Underway

Greensboro, NC -- 47 people of three different faiths left the Piedmont Triad International Airport, in Greensboro, Sunday, enroute to Israel.

The Interfaith Mission group includes Greensboro area Muslims, Jews and Christians.  Their reasons for going may vary but they all hope to come back with a better understanding of the region and each other.

Intercultural Dialogue event held In Malaysia

Intercultural Dialogue: "Towards Greater Awareness: Community Identity & National Identity" was held on 01 Feb 2012 and graced by HRH Raja Zarith Sofiah.

The event was jointly organized by PCORE (Voices of Peace, Conscience and Reason) and Yayasan Malaysia.

GJU organizes an intercultural dialogue session

The German Jordanian University hosted a group of German exchange students to meet some of GJU home students for an intellectual and intercultural dialogue. The event was attended by Prof. Anton Mangstl, Vice President of the university and organized by the International Office in cooperation with Arabs and Foreigners Club on Tuesday 20 March 2012.
