His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan takes the message of Interfaith to Europe.

Since the early days of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), interfaith dialogue and coexistence with the “other”, has been a familiar theme to Muslim society. In the footsteps of his ancestors, His Majesty King Abdullah, once again, stressed and pursed the same cause in his address at the European People’s Party (EPP) summit, delivered in the presence of over 35 presidents, prime ministers, EU institution chiefs and opposition leaders.

His Majesty called for an increase in interfaith activities as well as getting to know each others cultures better. His Majesty also referred to the “World Interfaith and Harmony Week”, which will be taking place in the first week of February, 2011.

His Majesty also mentioned the Amman Message and the Common Word,  initiatives that invite humanity to mutual respect, and coexistence.
